Kerala contradiction?

kerala is among the Third World%26#039;s longest-lived, healthiest, most gender-equitable, and most literate regions. However, Kerala%26#039;s suicide, alcoholism, and unemployment rates rank among India%26#039;s highest.

how does the latter happen, given the former?

In general, i have seen the guys from Kerala working so hard if they are not in their home state. But if they are working in Kerala the opposite of that happens. I am not able to explain why.. but probably something to do with their communist culture and not worker equality and all that. See the neighbouring TN doesn%26#039;t have the richness of Kerala in terms of natural resources like water etc but still it is more industralized (just behind Gujarat and maharashtra), the main reason for that is the highly skilled and motivated work force.

To cut it short I think a motivated workforce is needed to have a successful organization or in this case to industralize a state.

cause the government of kerela is not taking proper actions to stop it. The officals will only think abt them self like getting money from others as bribes.
