I%26#039;m sick of hearing how great it was during the Clinton years and how miserable everybody is today. You really should look for your news in other places than our liberal mainstream media. They will NEVER give you the truth about ANY Republican.

Clinton walked in on an economy that was on a major upswing, and when he left it was on it%26#039;s way down. Under Bush the American economy has added more than 6.3 million jobs since the fall of 2002, and Employment is near an all-time high. The unemployment rate (4.9 percent) is well below the average for each of the PAST FOUR DECADES. Home ownership is at a record high. Real disposable personal income has risen almost 14 percent since President Bush took office; and core inflation rose just 2.3 percent over the past 36 months. The Dow Jones industrial average has risen from under 7300 in 2002 to above 14,000 for most of 2007. Tax revenues are at an all-time high, and so is total household net worth.

The majority of Clinton supporters here were in grade school at best during the first Clinton administration. It%26#039;s not that they have selective memory, it%26#039;s that they have no memory. Add to that that cheating and lying is completely exceptable behavior to this generation - they do it in their own lives so it%26#039;s easy to ignore it in others.

The next president is going to have a huge mess to clean up. How come no one brings up Hillary%26#039;s participation in the White Water scandal. It cost taxpayers $500 million, she made $20 million as the attorney that prolonged the ripoff!

Many economist feel we borrowed our way to prosperity with Bush......its sorta like you decide to suddenly just max out your charge card...you can live pretty good for a while...but eventually you have to pay the bill........

Real diposable income rose 14%? I hope that 14% isnt in US dollars because they are worth 40% less than they were in 2003, which equates to a net loss in REAL buying power|||I agree 100%. Syria wanted to get rid of him, we had no proof yet that he was responsible for any of the attacks on the US (Clinton kept trying to get the FBI to pin down the culprits but they couldn%26#039;t/wouldn%26#039;t), so we had absolutely no right to take him. We begged them to give him to Saudi Arabia, but they didn%26#039;t want him. So he was let go. DO SOME FREAKING RESEARCH, SHEEP!

Oh yeah, Just Ask Me - it was BUSH SR. who designed, drew up and got NAFTA all in a pretty package - Clinton was just the unlucky soul who signed it. NAFTA is a Bush baby.

change?? states that we are $9 trillion in debt and then blames Bush for this. The last time I looked, the only monies the President can actually spend are those that Congress allocates for the White House. The President can not spend any money on his own. So where does the debt come from?

It comes from the action of the Congress. The recent rise in the debt has actually come on the Democratic watch. All one has to do is look at all the Pork-Barrel spending that they have allowed and you can see that the issue is wasteful spending by Congress in order to get re-elected. This is another dirty little secret that the media has pushed--the budget is the Congress%26#039; problem, not the president%26#039;s.|||Just go to National Debt and you will find all the statistics so you will not show your ignorance by posting such stupid question/statement in future.
