It was his decision to go to war and his oversight that allowed 9/11 to happen, while people in the south was clinging to their roofs for life he was vacationing in Texas. His response came too little and too late. I will not stand behind him in any of these things. The unemployment rate is flawed in the fact that it don%26#039;t count everyone that is out of work. It only counts those that are drawing unemployment. More will come out about the scandals he is involved in I am sure. The one good thing that will come out of this is I will work harder to get more democrats in congress so that he will have some checks and ballances to deal with and in 08 I will hope for a democrat for president.|||I agree completely that these are tough times. Its not these events that will define his presidency, it%26#039;s his response to them. The unemployment rate has dropped, that true, but wages have dropped also. The jobs that people are getting are not the high paying jobs they lost but service jobs. I remember $1 a gallon gasoline in the 90%26#039;s. How much is is now? I remember budget surpluses in the 90%26#039;s. How much is the deficit now? I remember the Clinton administration being critisized for taking 2 days to respond to Hurricane Andrew. How long did Bush wait to respond to Katrina?

Now for the 2 wars, as you put it. Thanks you for saying 2 wars, because they are unrelated. The war on terror and the was on Iraq are 2 different wars. The first was required. The second was not. Taking resources from the required one weakens our ability to fight it effectively. Compare the troop numbers looking for bin Laden with the troop levels forcing democracy on Iraq. How much money has been spent searching for Al Queda compared to how much money to get Saddam. Which is more important to you, the man who killed Americans or the man who killed his own citizens in Iraq?
